We will be doing member spotlight over the next few weeks so you can hear why these members chose CoBuild for their business.
We will be starting to run regular workshops at CoBuild over the next few months in collaboration with the Hamilton Tool Library so stay tuned for upcoming workshops.
If you have ideas for workshops or events you would like to host at CoBuild please reach out to the Manager of Operations (Jenn) she would be more than happy to discuss ideas and opportunities.
One large event we want to bring to your attention is the Hamilton Tool Library Birthday Bash and Fundraiser taking place June 25:
this will be a large event with food trucks, raffles, maker market, special celebrity guest, live music and small events. This will be a very big event to celebrate the great work the Hamilton Tool Library does and to raise money to continue to support the cause. The Hamilton Tool Library is also still looking for event sponsors and donations so please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any sponsorship leads.
Grand Opening II – date to be decided – because we were rained out from our first grand opening we’ve decided to wait until better weather for our Grand Opening – round two. We will keep you posted for updated date!
*if you would like to host an event at CoBuild please reach out to Jenn to discuss*
We had a few delays with construction but our first area is nearly complete! We’re currently working on the finishing touches in the kitchen and other common areas but anticipate being fully complete within the next few weeks.
Construction for the long awaited Industrial Side for phase one of CoBuild has officially started! This area is going to be divided into two sides:
Side one is ideal for businesses that create a lot of dust and can tolerate a lot of noise aka wood working, cabinet making, various hobbyists and will include industry specific amenities including:
- access to 110 and 220 power
- a strong dust collection system
- two exterior loading doors
Side two ideal for any machinery requiring larger power access, with low dust tolerance and can tolerate a lot of noise (i.e. CNC machines) and will include industry specific amenities including:
- access to 110 and 3 phase power
- strong dust collection system
- one interior loading door
There is a long to-do list for the industrial side for phase one o but we’ve got a team on site working diligently towards completion.
We are anticipating the completion of side one as of late June and ideally side two shortly thereafter.
Note: At this point we are not taking deposits for either side in the industrial zone but we will keep you posted for when we release spots which will be closer to the date of completion.
As always, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out!
